An evolving non-profit group dedicated to empowering young gay, bi and curious guys to get involved with and build a better community for themselves and their friends in Anchorage. Our mission is threefold:

1 To provide fun social events for the young gay, bi and curious men of Anchorage to meet and form strong and supportive friendships and relationships.

2 To support and promote the good health of the young gay men's community of Anchorage, and to support and promote safer sex as a major issue within that context.

3 To provide a way for guys to become more active and involved in creating and developing a strong and supportive young gay men's community, and gay community in general.

So here's where you come in...

To help assure our success we're inviting you to our events and meetings, or to join our Core Group, the decision making body of Adam & Steve. Thats where we will discuss what we do, why we do it and what we are going to do in the future.

Tell us what you'd like to see happen? Let us know! We will have ongoing discussion groups, casual social nights where we just hang out, movie nights and other events for open ended conversations about the group.

But where do you fit in? Anywhere you want. That's the deal with Adam & Steve - we don't have a formal membership or anything, we are the guys that come here and you are certainly welcome here too. You want a hand in shaping the gay community in Anchorage? Join us in making a positive impact. You just want to go hang out once a month, outside the bar? We look forward to meeting you. Do you have an idea to share? Would you like to be apart of our group? You help develop the group and do outreach or plan and throw our huge events - the door is open and we can hardly wait.

Adam & Steve Core Events:
Board Of Bois: We meet at the Alaskan AIDS Assistance Association (Located @ 1057 Fireweed Lane) and discuss past events and create new events for the following month.

Entertainment Tonight/Coffee Talk:
Coffee Talk: The Adam & Steve guys all join up at Kaladi Brothers Coffee (Northern Lights & Spenard), and chill out from the start of the week, and sit back and relax while drinking some warm coffee (Paid for by A&S) and have some enticingly interesting conversations with the guys.

Entertainment Tonight: The A&S boys all meet up at one of the facilitators house's, and either play video games. board games or just sit back and watch some movies or TV!

These Events are every other Monday (I.E. The 1st Monday of the month is Coffee Talk, Then The Next Monday is Entertainment Tonight, and so on and so forth)

Bar Outreach
The A&S Facilitators & Members go out to the local bars and spread the word about safer sex, HIV testing and A&S.
The boys can be found at Mad Myrna's & The Kodiak Bar and Grill, and The Raven.
*This event takes place on the 1st & 3rd Friday of the month*

Volunteer Night
The A&S boys meet up at The Four A's Building (1057 Fireweed Lane), and stuff condom packs for Bar Outreach. Come join for some fun conversations and free condoms and lube!

Hour2MPower
This is the once a month safer sex "workshop" that the A&S boys have.
It's a fun way to expand your sexual health education, and also have some fun while talking about sex! The boys play interesting games that are humurous and satirical.

Main Events
The A&S boys, when at Board Of Bois, choose and create 3 Main Events that are different from the Core Events throughout the month, they range from Rock Climbing, to Swimming, to Cookie Parties, etc.
